The
University of North Carolina at Charlotte College of Computing and Informatics
The College of Computing
and Informatics at the
University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) is looking for talented
students to pursue graduate studies in computing. The
college boasts
well-regarded researchers in many areas of computing, including: artificial
intelligence, computer vision, data mining, game development, human-computer
interaction, information security, modeling and analytics, networking,
robotics, and visualization. Through the Graduate School, we offer a
variety of graduate degree options, including M.S. and Ph.D. and graduate
certificate programs.
GRAD 2011 is an opportunity to learn about the benefits of a graduate
education and the exciting research at UNCC. It is also an opportunity
for our faculty
to identify curious and talented students to let them know
about the programs at UNCC. We are interested in recruiting
students with strong technical skills in Computer Science,
Computational Science, Engineering, Information Sciences, Information
Technology, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
We will host students from across the region to
attend GRAD 2011, a two day program to
introduce promising undergraduates and Masters students to the possibilities of graduate school,
as well as the faculty, students, and research opportunities available at UNC Charlotte.
Hotel lodging for Thursday and Friday nights and all meals
will be provided. Arrangements for transportation to Charlotte is the
responsibility of the student; reimbursement of up to $50 for
travel costs is available for out-of-area students.
